Imagine you are getting ready for your prom or a party, and suddenly you see creepy sprout up on your face, well these pimples usually happen to come suddenly and of course without our expectations. May be your face needs better hygiene or you are stressed up or whatever the reason is, why now??? Getting angry or searching for any dermatological justice won’t help you, trust me. The only thing you should be thinking of is that how to get rid of it, and more importantly, when you are heading out to some damn special place. You may find pimple popping to be the best solution at this point of time. But mind it; you have to follow some precautions and protocols to pop a pimple.
Which type of pimples can be popped?
- See if the volcano is resting or active one: Pimple with a distinct white head (dried pus) can be associated with the thought of popping it. Otherwise don’t even think about it. You should not even touch the pimple without head, as doing this you can spread up the bacteria to other places and you can’t imagine the further blunder. Be patient and one thing you can apply on your headless pimple is a mild acne cleanser.
- Hermit Pimples: Some pimples can be never squeezed. Usually all of us have experienced those painful inner pimples without a head and which make you hidden creatures with that disgusting pus. Despite the pain they cause, these will get automatically resolved, but even if you will try to squeeze them, they will get converted to some persistent ones.
Tips to be followed while popping a pimple:
- Wash Your Hands Properly – Doing the procedure with dirty hands will be the path to more acne, so be careful about your hygiene. Wash your hands with an antiseptic soap before touching the face.
- Heat will Help to Pop a Pimple – Before popping a pimple, take a warm shower, or you can also apply a hot compress to pop it out easily.
- Use Sterilized Needle – For popping the pimple, use needle that is sterilized by open flame or alcohol.
- Poke Gently - With the tip of the needle, poke the white head of pimple very gently. You have to just nudge slightly and pus will come out.
- To Squeeze the Pimple, Use Tissue of Sterilized Gauze - Instead of using your fingernails, wrap your fingers with some clean material and then apply some pressure to let the pus get absorbed.
Stop the process when your pimples will give out a clear fluid and blood. Get rid of pimples without getting scars and always remember that the gentler you will be with your face, the more beneficial it will be for you.
